Sometimes the best inventions are the simplest ones. We have split many of our cartridges into two parts. The ink is sealed in a replaceable tank, and the rest of the cartridge is reused. The tanks just click into place without any tools or mess.

This reduces plastic waste, and you save even more money by just buying recharge packs, rather than paying for the whole cartridge. What's more, the ink tanks have much more ink in them, so they last much longer!
